The idea behind the branding for Cocomaniaco was to develop a recognisable and solid identity for a commonplace product in Vietnam that has no distinct or specific brand marketing.
Using the skin of the coconut to act as a natural tetra pack, the coconuts are harvested at different times through the ripening process to obtain different skin thicknesses, allowing the fruit itself to act like a portable juice box.
With a target audience focused outside Vietnam, the essence of the brand needed to emphasise a healthy and eco-friendly product with a touch of South East Asian exoticism.
Basing the colour palette, textures and pattern around the concept of a tropical forest canopy, the branding of Cocomaniaco is light and fresh appealing to a young, health conscious audience.
All materials used in the branding and packaging of Cocomaniaco products are recyclable and environmentally friendly.
